When people see my paintings their immediate reaction I get is: "Wow, I feel the energy. This work touches my heart."
The feedback I get from people who gave my work a new home is that they feel the energy fill their room. And how they connect with the painting daily. Some even speak to the painting as if it were a good friend.
All these responses make me feel so proud! I shine from ear to ear. I feel so lucky to do what I do and spread a little bit of energy. Give people a little sense of home through my art.
ABOUT THE STYLE
Built-up layer by layer
All my paintings are hand-sculpted and hand-painted. The first layer is a self-made structured texture which is moulded on the stretched canvas. The second layer creates the color dimension with multiple layers of acrylic paint. All paintings are completed with a black wooden frame, in which they appear to be floating.
